Description

The device is intended for hotel and sanatorium complexes, for distribution of programs of digital broadcasting.

Unlike classical analog distribution networks, it allows you to create a software package and distribute the signal to subscribers over long distances without loss of quality. Group processing and formation of a group signal is carried out by one device.

One device, when broadcasting in MPEG2 and the average stream per channel with speeds of 4.5 Mbit, provides broadcasting in the lower range of cable TV about 26 TV programs, and when broadcasting in MPEG4 and the average stream of 3 Mbit-up to 40 programs.

One such device allows you to organize a small television cable network, and can be used to build TV networks not only for hotels, but also cottage settlements, individual elite mansions, usually having several TVs. In addition, the use of digital technology opens up a lot of opportunities that are inherent in digital broadcasting — this is the transmission of stereo sound, and the possibility of multilingual sound accompaniment.

The device is an integral part of the hardware and software system. The program perceives this device as four independent devices, each of which has 2 ASI inputs. Thus, the device has 8 ASI inputs, which are supplied to the input of the software switch, which allows switching the input ASI streams to any of the 4 built-in remultiplexers.

Four 2-input remultiplexers allow the program to form 4 software packages from 8 ASI streams. Each of the formed packets arrives on four built-in QAM modulators working on one DAC, forming a radio frequency signal on the lower bands of TV and cable channels and containing 4 subcarriers with a shift relative to each other at 8 MHz.

8ASI-4F works in conjunction with the hardware and software complex DVCrypt.

Working with it is no different from working with 4 remultiplexers with ASI inputs installed in the system, since the system sees the 8ASI-4F Converter as 4 converters with ASI inputs.
